When working multi-day festivals where you are camping on-site, a good tent is a must have. This is your ‘recovery room’ for the next few days. You might think it’s only for 3, 4, or 5 days so you’ll be fine. Do you remember how long your shift feels? The dry & dusty heat? Maybe you work the night shift and how wild those can be. So having a space where you can get away from it all, make all the difference. Because your team is relying on you to show up and be ready to work your full shift the next day.
The Yodo Lightweight 2 Person Camping Backpacking Tent with Carry Bag is a great option for festival camping. The design looks very similar to what I have used for many years. You want something lightweight & easy to set up (even in the middle of the night) because we’ve all been too excited when we get there to remember to do it sooner. According to Amazon, this is a #1 best seller in dome tents.
If you are needing something a bit bigger, maybe because you are taller or maybe you brought more stuff, try the Wenzel Alpine 3 Person tent.
A few points to remember, because you are counting on your tent are:
- Use tarps so your tent doesn’t fill with water during foul weather
- Keep the mesh closed otherwise you may be bunking with mosquitos
- Peg your tent down, so the wind can pick up unexpectedly
- Find comfy and warm bedding – bring lots of options
